Senior Associate - Business Services

I'm currently partnered with a respected mid-sized accountancy practice in the City that's looking to expand its Business Services team with a Senior Associate / Accounts Senior.

This is a well-rounded role with a mix of year-end accounts, management accounts, VAT returns and tax computations. You'll be working closely with partners and seniors in small teams, gaining real client exposure and handling a varied portfolio that includes SMEs, LLPs, partnerships, and sole traders.

�? Responsibilities include:

• Preparing year-end and management accounts

• Producing draft accounts and tax computations (finalisation handled by the tax team)

• Preparing VAT returns

• Supervising and mentoring juniors where required

• Working directly with clients and supporting business development initiatives

? Requirements:

• ACA/ACCA qualified (or equivalent) with strong UK practice background

• Confident across the full accounts preparation process

• Proficient with accounting software (Sage/QuickBooks essential; CCH/Pro-Audit/Excel desirable)

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Strong time management and the ability to manage competing deadlines
