Accounts Senior – General Practice

Are you an ambitious Accounts Senior looking for a role that will fast-track your career?This forward-thinking accountancy practice is seeking a talented individual to join their dynamic General Practice team, working with a diverse portfolio of SMEs across multiple industries.

The Role In this varied position, you’ll take ownership of accounts preparation from start to finish under FRS102, FRS102A and FRS105 , complete corporation tax returns (CT600s) , and support the development of junior colleagues through mentoring and review. You’ll also gain exposure to bookkeeping, VAT, and management reporting work, while working closely with a dedicated Manager/Senior Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

• Preparation of year-end accounts for a variety of SME clients
• Completion of corporation tax computations and CT600s
• Review and support work produced by junior team members
• Bookkeeping, VAT returns, and management reporting
• Direct client communication, ensuring excellent service at all times
• Use of Iris, Xero, QuickBooks, and Sage

About You:

• ACA/ACCA qualified, part-qualified, or qualified by experience
• Strong knowledge of UK reporting standards (FRS102, 102A, 105)
• Confident in managing accounts preparation end-to-end
• Excellent communicator with a proactive, client-focused approach
• Ambitious, driven, and eager to progress quickly within practice
