Accounts Semi Senior up to Client Manager - (Hybrid Working)  2025

A well-established, long standing firm of chartered accountants is looking to add a Semi Senior Accountant through to Client Manager to its growing team. Whether you're building on solid practice experience or already managing a portfolio, this role offers genuine progression and the opportunity to work within a collaborative, supportive environment. The firm offer strong hybrid working with 3 days in the office and 2 days from home.

Responsibilities:

• Preparation of client accounts and calculation of associated tax liabilities (corporate and personal), ensuring accuracy and timely submission.
• Preparation and review of VAT returns, bookkeeping, payroll, and management accounts across a diverse portfolio of clients.
• Liaising directly with clients to manage queries, provide advice, and maintain strong working relationships through meetings, calls, and emails.
• Supporting and mentoring junior team members, with supervision responsibilities increasing depending on experience and role level.
• Managing a portfolio of clients, including planning and reviewing work, providing strategic guidance, and ensuring client satisfaction (if applicable).
• Assisting with day-to-day office operations, including administrative duties and general support across the team.
• Collaborating with colleagues and senior staff to ensure high-quality service delivery, working independently or as part of a team.
• Engaging with directors and senior team members to contribute to broader business objectives and client service improvements (if applicable).
