Accounts Receivable & Credit Control Manager - Robert Half : Job Details

Robert Half Ltd are delighted to be partnering with an Oxford City Centre-based organisation looking for an Accounts Receivable & Credit Control Manager. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with previous experience to join a supportive environment, driving process improvements, leading a small team, and ensuring the efficient delivery of accounts receivable and credit control operations.

Key responsibilities:

• Develop, maintain, and improve robust systems for invoicing, reconciliations, credit control, and banking, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance
• Implement processes to minimise risk, maximise collections, and oversee debt reporting, escalation, and recovery
• Ensure all income and transactions are fully reconciled to supporting records and accurately reported
• Review and streamline processes, drive integration with IT systems, and identify technology-based solutions for efficiency
• Maintain clear documentation, ensure adherence to regulations and respond to audit queries
• Manage, develop, and support the AR and credit control team, fostering a culture of accuracy, accountability, and customer service
• Maintain effective communication with internal departments and stakeholders, ensuring issues are addressed proactively

What they're looking for:

• Previous experience managing a small team
• Experience of managing the invoicing and credit control processes in a high-volume environment
• Flexibility to adapt and prioritise tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Good IT Skills including Excel
