Accounts Payable Supervisor - Consumer Additions Ltd : Job Details

Consumer Additions are partnering with a fashion retailer to help them recruit a Accounts Payable Supervisor into their team based in London.

Roles and responsibilities:

• Oversee the full accounts payable cycle, from invoice receipt through to final payment processing.
• Support the management of accounts inboxes by reviewing, entering, and posting invoices.
• Act as the initial reviewer of the accounts payable team’s work, ensuring data integrity and correct integration with the general ledger.
• Track the accounts payable ledger, identifying and addressing aged items, including proforma invoices and outstanding advances.
• Monitor and follow up on invoices placed on hold, ensuring timely resolution.
• Complete monthly bank reconciliations in line with finance deadlines.
• Coordinate the preparation of payment journals, ensuring vendor payments are made promptly and in accordance with due dates.
• Handle the processing, reconciliation, and administration of corporate credit card transactions.
• Oversee the employee expense claim process .
• Collaborate effectively with internal teams to enhance workflows and boost overall process efficiency.
• Assist with month-end close duties.

The ideal candidate:

• A minimum of 4 years of Accounts Payable experience
• Experience in a retail, stock driven environment essential
• Excellent communication skills, in person and in writing
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to deal with high volume workloads, while ensuring that detail and accuracy is maintained
