Accounts Payable Supervisor - Reed : Job Details

We are seeking a Accounts Payable Supervisor to oversee our Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable teams, ensuring the smooth operation of financial activities across multiple markets including the UK, Germany, and Poland. This is a pivotal role within the finance department, combining team leadership with operational and transactional responsibilities.

• Line management of the Accounts Receivable and Payable teams, including approximately 8 direct reports.
• Support and mentor the team, manage workload, conduct annual appraisals, and oversee all output.
• Oversee department activities, ensuring efficient processes in customer and supplier set-ups, credit checks, invoicing, and credit control.
• Collaborate with the UK Financial Controller (FC) to review and improve department processes and procedures.
• Assist with the implementation of Netsuite across EMEA, including data transfer, validation checks, and training of non-finance staff.

• Proficient in MS Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• Excellent organisational and numeracy skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills and a proven track record of leading professional and efficient teams.
• Experience with NetSuite is advantageous.
• A good sense of humour is always welcome.

• O Level / GCSE Maths / English required.
• Accountancy qualification or study towards one is preferred.
• Line management experience.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in managerial roles.
