Job Description :

This is an exciting new temporary Accounts Payable Assistant role working for a technology company in West London. They are looking for a minimum of six months temporary cover, with the opportunity to become extended.

Client Details

A prestigious luxury retail company based in South West London is seeking a dedicated and skilled Accounts Payable Clerk to join a finance team on a temporary basis for 6 months, with the exciting potential to transition into a permanent role.

Description

The key responsibilities for the Accounts Payable role:

  • Processing a high-volume of purchase ledger invoices
  • Seeking approval for the invoices
  • Dealing with any internal or external (supplier) queries
  • Supplier statement reconciliations
  • Management of the Accounts Payable inbox
  • Setting up new suppliers on the system
  • Processing of staff expenses
  • Preparation and processing of the weekly payment runs

Profile

The successful candidate:

  • Previous experience in accounts payable or a related finance role.
  • Proficient in using accounting software and MS Excel.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of basic accounting principles.
