Accounts Payable Clerk - Mitchell Adam : Job Details

Our client, a longstanding and leading name in the manufacturing sector, is looking for an Accounts Payable Clerk to join their finance team. This company have established themselves strongly as market leaders, continuing to hit milestone after milestone. The root of their success lies not only in the high standard of their products and reputation but also in the smooth running of their financial processes. In this role you will play a key part in maintaining this, overseeing your own ledger and ensuring a strong communication line with suppliers.

Based in their Wolverhampton office, this role will be reporting into the Finance Manager and working alongside some lovely like-minded Accounts Payable clerks who are keen to welcome you into the team and get you started on your journey with the company. From processing invoices, reconciliations, handling queries, all the way to month end duties and payment runs, this is a varied role whereby you can gain exposure to end to end Accounts Payable processes.

What you will need:

• Prior experience within an Accounts Payable clerk role or similar position is required.
• Proficiency with Excel including Pivot tables and VLOOKUPS is essential. Whilst by no means essential, it is also advantageous if you have prior experience using Sage and Netsuite.
• A collaborative mindset and track record of having a strong team ethic.
• Keen eye for detail and excellent interpersonal skills to excel at handling queries and liaising with suppliers.
