Description
- Process high volume vendor invoices accurately and in a timely manner.
- Reconcile supplier statements to ensure account accuracy.
- Assist in the preparation of payment runs and resolve payment queries.
- Maintain organised records of financial transactions and documentation.
- Communicate effectively with suppliers to address discrepancies.
- Support month-end reporting and accounting tasks as required.
- Collaborate with the accounting & finance team to streamline processes.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and financial regulations.
Profile
A successful Accounts Payable Clerk should have:
- Previous experience in accounts payable or a similar role.
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail.
- Proficiency in relevant accounting software and Microsoft Office.
- Ability to manage workloads effectively in a fast-paced retail environment.
- Excellent communication skills for liaising with suppliers and team members.
- Must be able to drive to reach location
Job Offer
- An hourly rate of £12.60 to £14.87 depending on experience.
