Accounts Payable Administrator
- Annual Salary: £28,000 - £32,000 (DOE)
- Location: Reigate- Hybrid working model (Office- Mon/ Weds/ Fri & WFH- Tues/ Thurs)

Join our Finance team as an Accounts Payable Administrator and play a crucial role in supporting the integrity and efficiency of our daily finance operations. This position is vital for maintaining accurate and timely financial records and ensuring seamless coordination across departments. As an Accounts Payable Administrator, you will manage the company's outgoing payments, process invoices timely, and maintain precise financial records.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Validate supplier invoices against budgets and expected charges, liaising with relevant departments to ensure accurate cost allocation.
- Equip departments with tools and guidance to efficiently resolve discrepancies in supplier invoicing.
- Cross-check invoice details with billing files and collaborate with the Billing Department to maintain consistent and reliable data flow.
- Execute weekly supplier payment runs, ensuring timeliness and accuracy.
- Raise internal purchase orders as needed, ensuring they are approved by Directors or Senior Managers.
- Take ownership of purchase order queries, driving them to full resolution in a timely manner.
- Process daily outbound banking transactions and collaborate with the Accounts Assistant to reconcile bank accounts across all entities.
- Collaborate with the Accounts Receivable team to support collections, queries, and sending customer statements when required.
- Respond to finance-related queries from Sales, Service, and Management teams.
- Create spreadsheets, perform cost comparisons, and support decision-making with accurate financial data.
- Provide operational support and cover for finance team members during periods of annual leave.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1 year Accounts Payable experience.
- Experience with Sage Intact or equivalent system.
- Proficient in Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Microsoft Dynamics experience would be advantageous but not necessary.
- Minimum 5 GCSE grades at C Level or above including Maths and English.
- Able to communicate verbally in a polite, precise, and accurate manner.
- Ability to write professional letters and reports.
- Thorough with a keen eye for detail.
