Accounts Payable Assistant Widnes£25,000-£27,000 per annum (depends on experience) Full-time, Permanent

Adele Carr Recruitment is seeking a professional Accounts Payable Assistant / Purchase Ledger Clerk to join a fast growing SME business in Widnes. This role is key to maintaining strong supplier relationships and ensuring efficient invoice processing.

Key Responsibilities

• Processing high volumes of purchase invoices
• Matching, batching, and coding invoices
• Reconciling supplier statements
• Preparing payment runs and remittances
• Liaising with suppliers to resolve queries

What we're looking for

• Previous experience in an accounts payable/ purchase ledger role
• Confident communicator
• Excellent attention to detail
• Experience with SAP or similar systems is advantageous
