Accounts Payable Assistant | Leamington | Temp to Perm | Up To £28,000

Are you an experienced Accounts Payable professional looking for your next challenge in a stable and supportive team environment?

We're working with a growing business in Leamington Spa to recruit an Accounts Payable Assistant on a temp-to-perm basis. This is a hands-on role with a broad remit, ideal for someone who thrives in a busy finance function. Experience with Kerridge is a bonus, but not essential - training will be provided for the right candidate.

Job Title: Accounts Payable AssistantLocation: Leamington SpaSalary: £28,000Contract: Temporary to PermanentWorking Hours: Office-based, Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 5:00pm

Key Responsibilities:

• Processing supplier invoices, including scanning, registering, coding, and verification
• Managing supplier queries and ensuring invoices are processed accurately and on time
• Supporting the treasury function with ad-hoc payments and approvals
• Reconciling supplier statements and company credit cards
• Preparing VAT reports (UK, Germany, Spain)
• Liaising with managers across departments to ensure invoice flow
• Supporting with bank reconciliations and sales ledger cover when needed
• Assisting with the month-end process and reporting duties

What We're Looking For:

• Previous experience in a purchase ledger or finance assistant role
• Strong Excel skills and familiarity with good finance practice
• High attention to detail and the ability to meet tight deadlines
• Confident communicator who can work independently and as part of a team
• Kerridge experience is advantageous but not required
