I am currently recruiting for an experienced AP Assistant to join a fast paced finance team within a Global Travel organisation. This role requires someone that is adaptable, has excellent attention to detail and able to hit the ground running. As this is an FTC you are required to be available on short notice. Responsibilities will include:

• Accurate and timely processing of supplier invoices
• Scanning of invoices into SAP
• Resolving discrepancies with stores, buyers and suppliers promptly
• Allocation of payments and credit notes appropriately
• Monthly supplier account reconciliations ensuring all ledgers are accurately reflecting the costs of the business
• Preparation of fortnightly payment runs and ad-hoc payments
• General ledger journals

Candidate specification:

• Excellent communication skills
• Great attention to detail and pride in your output
• Keen to take responsibility and able to use own initiative
• A team player
• Speed and accuracy are very important as dealing with multiple accounts/clients to strict deadlines.
• Experience using SAP desirable
• 3 years relevant experience
• Experience of dealing with large volume of complex invoices
• Experience of dealing with multi-currency
