Accounts Manager - permanent - South Leicestershire

This growing lifestyle brand in South Leicestershire is looking for an Accounts Manager to take ownership of their AP/AR function and lead a small, capable team of two.

You'll be the go-to for everything from reconciliations and banking to supplier payments, refunds, and process improvements. There's also plenty of cross-department interaction, so you will be responsible for building strong relationships with relevant stakeholders.

What you'll be doing as the Accounts Manager:

• Leading and developing two Accounts Assistants
• Managing AP/AR and monthly reconciliations
• Keeping supplier payments and customer receipts running smoothly
• Handling expenses, credit cards, and VAT invoices
• Spotting and fixing process inefficiencies
• Supporting the roll-out of a new accounting system

What they're looking for:

• 5+ years' experience in AP/AR - or as an Accounts Manager
• Team leadership experience - or at least the confidence to step up
• Strong Excel and reconciliation skills
• Organised, proactive, and happy to challenge the "we've always done it this way" mindset
