Accounts ManagerMonday - Friday 09.00- 17.00 Leatherhead, office based£30,000 - £32,000

The ideal candidate will be a confident and highly organised individual with a solid background in bookkeeping and accounting. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a busy environment and is adept at managing multiple financial tasks with precision.Day to Day of the role:• Manage client and tenant monies, ensuring accurate allocation of funds received.• Perform bank and credit card reconciliations.• Oversee the banking facility and manage rent collection processes.• Maintain cashbook spreadsheets and conduct weekly payments to Clients/Suppliers.• Register and insure tenant deposits, as well as reconcile tenant deposit returns.• Prepare and send out client statements and monthly management reports.• Handle overseas Landlord tax requirements.• Process and pay invoices onto the system daily/weekly.• Receive and process purchase invoices, obtaining approval when necessary.• Create schedules and reports as requested by Directors and Accountants.• Assist accountants with the annual audit.• Address client or tenant queries via telephone, email, or face to face.• Regularly use Excel spreadsheets to manage financial data.Required Skills & Qualifications:• At least 1-2 years of relevant experience in Lettings accounts/bookkeeping.• Strong IT skills and experience with property management software (e.g., Jupix, CFP, Repit) is beneficial.• Highly numerate with the ability to work well under pressure.• Proven bookkeeping experience and a solid understanding of basic bookkeeping principles.• Proficiency in English and in MS Office, particularly Excel.• Ability to perform multiple tasks concurrently with ease and professionalism.• High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.• Excellent customer service orientation and negotiation skills.• Good concentration and an eye for detail.• Ability to work to deadlines.• A qualification in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration is preferred.• AAT certification is also preferred.Benefits:• On-site parking.• Flexible working hours.• Staff events.
