Accounts & Finance Manager

We are recruiting an experienced Accounts and Finance Manager on behalf of our client, a long-established and successful company who supply specialist products to leading theatres and live events.

This is a great opportunity to join a sociable & vibrant team based in North London. The role offers £45,000 to £50,000 and is office- based, working 5 days per week. There is some flexibility for Hybrid working.

Duties & responsibilities:

Assigning accounting tasks or projects to the accounting team

Working with Directors and key staff to develop the company’s financial and accounting policies, workflows, and methods.

Managing a small team of accounting staff.

Providing all accounting and financial reports and documents needed by the company’s Directors and external auditors.

Ensuring effective payment of creditors and monitoring of debtors.

Calculating and filing of VAT returns

Prepare and complete monthly accrual journals and correct distribution of advance rentals.

Control and reconciliation of Fixed Asset Register

Required Skills:

AAT Level 3 Certificate in Bookkeeping or equivalent.

Experience managing a team in and SME environment.

Good knowledge of Microsoft Business Central.

Good knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and Microsoft Dynamics
