Accounts & Audit Assistant Manager - IPS Group : Job Details

A collaborative team environment and modern working practices make this an exciting time to join as they continue to expand their audit and accounts offering.As an Audit and Accounts Assistant Manager, you will play a key role in the delivery of high-quality audit and accounting services to clients. Working closely with a hands-on and supportive partner group, you will manage and mentor junior staff, plan and lead audits, and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, lead, and review audit assignments from planning through to completion
• Prepare and review statutory accounts for a varied client base
• Liaise directly with clients to build strong working relationships
• Support and train junior team members
• Work closely with the partner group on strategic client service and development
• Ensure work is delivered on time and within budget

About You:

• ACA/ACCA qualified (or equivalent)
• Proven experience in audit and accounts within a UK practice environment
• Strong technical knowledge and understanding of UK accounting and audit standards
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• A proactive and team-focused approach
