Hunter Mason’s client was founded in 2017, are a privately owned business based in Coventry and are specialists in the full mechanical package. They are now offering a brilliant opportunity to a candidate aspiring to be an account administrator to work specifically within the purchase ledger team.
Your key tasks as Accounts Administrator will include:
- Ensuring that purchase ledger transactions are processed
- Acting as the main contact point for account queries
- Managing supplier accruals to ensure accuracy
- Processing high volumes of invoices and transactions
- Preparing invoices ready for payment.
- General administration and non-routine payment processing as requested
What you will need:
- Proven previous experience of working in a fast-paced accounts environment.
- A high level of numeracy and data understanding/manipulation.
- Confident and competent user of excel to an intermediate level.
- Excellent and diplomatic telephone manner re: supplier contact point.
- Excellent IT skills, including keyboard skills and Microsoft packages.
- A self-starter with a positive, enthusiastic 'can do’ attitude and a down to earth approachable manner.
- It would be great, although not essential, if you have experience of working with foreign currencies.
