Role: Accounts Assistant

Location: Dundee

Salary: £28,000 - £30,000 per annum

Hours: Full-time, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday

Are you a detail-driven finance professional with a passion for precision and teamwork? We are a leading name in textile innovation, is looking for an enthusiastic Accounts Assistant to join our dynamic finance team at our Dundee headquarters.

As an Accounts Assistant, you'll play a key role in our busy finance department, supporting all areas of the business. You'll be responsible for a variety of tasks-from processing invoices and reconciling accounts to handling international payments and responding to customer queries. • Post daily cash receipts and issue sales invoices

• Reconcile sales ledger and general ledger monthly

• Process purchase invoices with accurate coding and VAT treatment

• Ensure timely supplier payments and manage BACS (including international)

• Reconcile bank, cash, and credit card transactions

• Handle expense claims and agent commission payments

• Respond to finance-related queries via email and phone

• Assist with month-end reporting and general filing

• Minimum 2 year's experience in a similar accounting role

• Strong organisational and time management skills

• A proactive, "can-do" attitude and team spirit

• Excellent communication and customer service skills

• Proficiency in MS Office and experience with ERP/CRM systems

• High attention to detail and a methodical approach
