Description

• Assist in preparing financial reports and budgets to support decision-making processes.
• Handle reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with internal procedures.
• Contribute to month-end and year-end financial processes.
• Support accounts payable and receivable tasks as needed.
• Maintain and update financial records for audit readiness.
• Collaborate with team members to enhance accounting procedures.
• Provide input on financial policy development and implementation.
• Respond to financial queries from internal stakeholders in a timely manner.

Profile

A successful Accounts Assistant should have:

• Previous experience in an accounting or finance role.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
• An understanding of financial processes and regulations.
• Either be studying towards or have a willingness to pursue a recognised accounting qualification.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement.
