Our client has an opportunity for an Accounts Admin/Assistant to join their busy team located in Cheshunt, Hertfordshire, a successful, busy family run business.
The RoleThe Accounts Assistant role is varied, and the main aim is to support the Accounts Manager in all day-to-day accounts’ tasks.
Salary: Up to £32k per annum
Contract Type: Full time, permanent, office based 8am to 5pm

Essential Skills
The successful candidate will be experienced in the following and will have been working in an account’s admin/assistant role and will possess the following skills:
· Experience using SAGE 50· IT Literate – Microsoft – Excel, Word, Outlook, SharePoint.· Be a team-player as well as having the initiative to work productively alone· Ability to prioritise and be well organised· Good attention to detail and high level of accuracy· Good communications skills with customers, clients and other members of staff· Ability to work with high volume data input· Ability to multitask· Knowledge of CIS & reverse charge VAT (preferred but not essential)
Main Tasks/Responsibilities
· Raising sales invoices
· Checking invoices for accuracy and formatting
· Setting up new clients
· Processing supplier purchase orders
· Reconciling supplier invoices to statements
· Liaising with customers, clients & suppliers
· Reconciling Credit cards & petty cash transactions
· Updating & maintaining excel spreadsheets
· Setting up new Subcontractors/Verifying status with HMRC
· Inputting subcontractor invoices
Salary : 28000 - 32000
