I am recruiting for an immediate Accounts Generalist ( Bookkeeper) for a repeat client of ours in Isleworth. My client specialises in creating bespoke security solutions for a range of different clients including clients within the healthcare and educational sectors. The successful candidate will be working within the Finance department. This is a Monday - Friday office-based position, working 8:30am-5pm Monday - Thursday (with 1 hour lunch break), and 8:30am-3:30pm on Fridays. (Yes an early finish for all on Fridays!)
Key responsibilities:
- Perform daily and monthly bank reconciliations
- Manage and maintain credit control and debtor ledgers
- Carry out cash reconciliations and reporting
- Handle basic bookkeeping tasks
- Raise, issue, and chase invoices efficiently
- Support the development and implementation of financial processes
- Collaborate across departments as a team player
- Assist with general finance and administration duties as required
Requirements:
- Previous finance experience within a similar role, and client is open to offering training or support after the 6 months probation to become qualified.
- Experience working within a security company (advantageous)
- A keen eye for detail and strong organisational skills
- Excellent written and numerical skills, and strong IT skills, including in Excel
- Experience in using accounting software such as Sage or Xero
