Accounts Assistant

Tewkesbury

£25,000 – £30,000 + Flexible Working + Social Events

We’re working with a well-established technology business in Tewkesbury who are looking for an Accounts Assistant to join their friendly finance team. This is a great opportunity for someone with solid accounting knowledge who’s looking for a varied role in a supportive and social environment.

What you’ll be doing:

• Processing invoices and maintaining accurate financial records
• Supporting month-end and year-end processes
• Assisting with reconciliations and reporting
• Liaising with suppliers and internal teams to resolve queries
• Supporting the finance team with ad-hoc tasks and projects

What we’re looking for:

• Previous experience in an accounts or finance support role
• Strong attention to detail and good organisational skills
• Confident with Microsoft Excel and accounting systems
• A proactive, team-oriented approach
• MS Dynamics or Xero experience (or has used more detailed ERP/SAP systems previously)
• AAT qualification (desirable, not essential)
