Job Title: Accounts Assistant
Location: Telford
Salary: £25,000 - £27,500
Top of the range will be offered to a candidate with previous experience in both Purchase Ledger and Sales Ledger.
We are currently recruiting for a brilliant Manufacturing business, based in Telford. We are looking for an Accounts Assistant to join the team on a permanent basis! The ideal candidate will be confident and friendly with previous working experience in Purchase Ledger and Sales Ledger. Training can absolutely be provided for the right candidate.
Responsibilities Will Include:
- The Accounts Assistant will be taking on Purchase Ledger duties such as invoice processing, processing of payments runs and supplier statement reconciliations.
- This role will also include elements of the Sales Ledger including cash allocation and bank reconciliation.
- The Accounts Assistant can gain the opportunity to get involved with financial reporting and VAT returns, should they want to!
Ideally, You Will:
- Have previous working experience in Purchase Ledger, in order to hit the ground running in those elements of the role.
- Exposure or experience in Sales Ledger would be ideal however is not essential as training can be provided for the right candidate!
- Be a confident user of Microsoft packages, specifically Microsoft Excel.
- Be willing to learn and get involved with the team!
