Reed Accountancy are delighted to be working exclusively with a thriving business based in Leeds, who are seeking a part-time Accounts Assistant to join their team on a permanent basis. In this role, you will work closely with the Finance Director to ensure the accurate maintenance of customer and supplier records, supporting the smooth running of the finance function.
Duties:
- Responsible for some aspects of purchase ledger
- Ensure the sales ledger and purchase ledger are kept up to date
- Assist in managing the credit control process
- Monitor all supplier statements reconciliations monthly
- Prepare payment runs
- Assist in the preparation of month end
- Month end reconciliation of the sales and purchase ledger
- Resolve both supplier and customer account queries
You will need to demonstrate:
- Experience with Microsoft packages – Excel and word
- Experience of Opera (desirable)
- Experience working within a similar position
- Ability to analyse data with attention to detail
- Strong organisational and time management skills
