Accounts Assistant Bristol (Hybrid 2 / 3 days on site)£26,000 - £32,000Full Time, Permanent Role

We're looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Accounts Assistant to join a small but growing finance team based in Bristol. This is a permanent, full-time role offering a mix of remote and office-based working (2-3 days per week in-office), with a competitive salary and study support available.

You'll be joining a tight-knit UK team that's part of a larger international group - giving you the best of both worlds: a supportive local environment with the backing of a global business

What you'll be doing:

• Managing day-to-day accounts payable and receivable
• Processing invoices, expenses, and credit notes
• Performing bank reconciliations and assisting with month-end close
• Supporting with payroll and VAT returns
• Helping prepare basic financial reports
• Assisting the Finance Manager on ad hoc tasks and process improvements

What we're looking for:

• Some experience or interest in finance, accounting, or bookkeeping
• Confident working with both sides of the ledger (ideal but not essential)
• Comfortable with spreadsheets (Excel) and basic accounting tools
• Organised, reliable, and eager to learn
• We're open to:

• Recent graduates in finance or accounting
• College leavers studying AAT or similar
• Existing finance assistants or bookkeepers looking for their next step

What's On Offer:

• Salary: £26,000 - £32,000 (targeting around £30k depending on experience)
• Hybrid working: 2-3 days per week in-office (Bristol location)
• Study support available for AAT or other qualifications
• Flexible working hours - standard day is 8:30am-4:45pm with flex on travel
