Are you ready to take the next step in your finance career? We're a dynamic and ambitious SME with a turnover of £25 million, currently experiencing an exciting phase of growth. As they scale, they're looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Accounts Assistant to join thier finance team and play a key role in supporting our day-to-day operations.As the new Accounts Assistant, you'll be at the heart of our finance function, supporting both Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)processes. This is a fantastic opportunity to grow with the business, gain exposure to a wide range of finance activities, and make a real impact.Key Responsibilities:

• Processing supplier invoices and reconciling statements (AP)
• Raising customer invoices and managing credit control (AR)
• Assisting with bank reconciliations and cash flow monitoring
• Supporting month-end processes and reporting
• Liaising with internal teams and external stakeholders
• Maintaining accurate financial records and documentation

What you'll need to succeed

• Previous experience in a similar finance or accounts role
• Strong understanding of AP and AR processes
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Sage, Xero, QuickBooks)
• A team player with a can-do attitude and willingness to learn
