Core tasks will include:

• Assisting in the management of a client portfolio to ensure exceptional service standards.
• Preparing and reviewing financial accounts for sole traders, submitting self-assessments, preparing statutory accounts for limited companies, and handling corporation tax returns.
• Managing VAT-related matters while staying informed on current legislation.
• Upholding a high level of professionalism and engaging in ongoing learning and internal development sessions.
• Contributing to the progression of less experienced colleagues through mentoring and advice.
• Enhancing your skills with Xero and other cloud-based accounting systems.

This role would suit someone with prior experience in a public practice environment who is eager to deepen their knowledge and take on a broader scope of accountancy and tax responsibilities.The Ideal Candidate:The successful applicant will hold (or be working towards) an AAT qualification and bring relevant, up-to-date experience from an accountancy practice.
