Accounts Assistant | West London | Hybrid | FMCG Lifestyle Brand | £28-32,000

This dynamic lifestyle brand based in West London is looking for an energetic Accounts Assistant with a strong background in accounts and minimum of two years' experience to join its busy finance team. You will support the Finance Manager and be part of a small team for all aspects of accounting & finance and the wider commercial business. Key tasks include:

• Checking, coding and posting supplier invoices and staff expenses to ERP systems
• Initiating Supplier payment runs for authorisation
• Completing supplier statement reconciliations
• Conducting due diligence ahead of opening new supplier accounts in ERP system
• Running and reconciling payables ageing reports at month-end
• Assist with audit and reporting requests
• Maintenance of accounts in boxes and ensuring all queries are dealt with efficiently
• Allocating cash receipts to customer ledger accounts
• Raising credit notes or any contras against purchase ledger
• Chasing-up overdue collections and escalating to Management
• Opening new customer accounts and allocating credit limits in ERP system
• Managing credit limits and release orders in the system upon approval from Manager
• Running and reconciling receivables ageing reports at month-end

Key Requirements

• Experience of Accounts Payable and some Accounts Receivable processing.
• Experience of Microsoft Office and ERP systems
• Excellent communication skills
