Financial Accounts Administrator
- Hourly Salary: £14 - £17, dependent on experience

Join a specialised Freight Forwarding and Fuel Distribution Software company with over 40 years of software development experience serving clients in the UK and Ireland. We are seeking an experienced Financial Accounts Administrator to work in our Colchester office and build strong relationships with our long-established customer base.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Raise Sales Ledger Invoices as projects are completed.
- Issue quarterly invoices for maintenance revenues.
- Produce month-end statements and ensure timely debt collection.
- Enter Purchase Ledger Invoices into the system and file original copies.
- Manage monthly supplier payments.
- Enter and code credit card statements into the system.
- Coordinate with accountants for off-site payroll processing, including overtime.
- Handle end-of-month employee payments and HMRC dues.
- Record and forecast cash flow, producing reports for the Directors.
- Maintain accurate records of outstanding debts and update customers' contract maintenance schedules.
- Produce documentation and reports for year-end accounts.
- Perform general office duties, including answering phones and filing.
- Manage business-related insurance renewals (car, liability, etc.).
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Experience in Credit Control.
- Proficiency in Excel and Word.
- Basic accounts knowledge; training will be provided on our Accounts Software.
- Strong communication skills.
