Accountant/Tax Manager - J & D Accountants Ltd : Job Details

We’re a well-established accountancy firm in Scarborough, looking for a proactive Client Accounts Manager to join our team. You’ll be the go-to contact for clients, helping them from day one and building strong, long-lasting relationships.

What you’ll do

• Meet clients and handle day-to-day calls and emails.
• Onboard new clients and manage their smooth transition into the firm.
• Prepare/review accounts and tax returns for limited companies, sole traders, and partnerships.
• Complete bookkeeping and VAT returns.
• Supervise and support junior staff.

What we’re looking for

• AAT qualified (minimum) with practice experience.
• Confident dealing directly with clients.
• Skilled in QuickBooks and Xero (essential).
• Experience preparing tax returns.
• Organised, approachable, and a team player.
