Accountant - Part Qualified - Office Angels : Job Details

Salary: £30,000 - £35,000*DOE

Location: West End (Hybrid - 1 day WFH)

Hours: 9:30 AM - 5:30 PM

Start Date: ASAP

We are an innovative and dynamic accountancy practice based in London, known for our expertise in tax planning, business advice, and investment support. Originally established with a strong client base in the film and advertising industries, we have since expanded to serve a diverse range of sectors including Professional Services, Charities & Mutual Entities.

We are seeking a Part-Qualified Accountant with a minimum of 2 years' experience in practice. The ideal candidate will be confident in client communication and capable of managing their own portfolio. You'll be working across a broad range of areas including:

• Income Tax | Corporation Tax |Limited Company Accounts | Sole Trader Accounts

Client Management

• Act as the first point of contact for a portfolio of clients
• Build and maintain strong client relationships
• Respond to client queries in a timely and professional manner

Accounts Preparation

• Prepare year-end accounts for limited companies, sole traders, and partnerships
• Assist in the preparation of management accounts
• Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations

Taxation

• Prepare and submit Corporation Tax returns
• Prepare and file Self-Assessment tax returns
• Assist with tax planning and advisory work
• Prepare VAT returns and ensure compliance

• Minimum 2 years' experience in an accountancy practice
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to manage a portfolio and meet deadlines
• Proficiency in handling a variety of client sectors
• Part qualified Accountant*or equivalent
