Accountant - Elevation Recruitment Group : Job Details

Elevation Recruitment Group are pleased to be working with a reputable and established boutique Accountancy Practice in South Sheffield as they look for an experienced Accountant to join them. 

You will be working as part of a friendly and established team of 6 and will be responsible for managing the accounts preparation and outsourced management accounts for a portfolio of clients. The firm uses a range of digital software including; Sage, Xero, Quickbooks and Taxcalc. The company offers a supportive and welcoming culture with plenty of scope for autonomy in the role. The role comes with a competitive salary and hybrid working with the ability to work from home 1 day a week. Duties will be varied and will include: -

• Production of monthly and quarterly Management Accounts for a range of clients
• Preparing analysis to provide strategic input for clients
• Tax planning for companies and individuals
• Year-end accounts review
• Preparing and presenting cashflow forecasts and budgets to clients
• Preparing and reviewing financial statements for limited companies, partnerships and sole traders
• Completing various month end tasks
• Preparing, reviewing & submitting VAT returns

The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experiences: - 

• ACCA/ ACA Qualified or equivalent
• At least 3-5 years experience in an accountancy practice 
• Knowledge of digital accounts 
• Strong communication skills
• Good reporting and analytical skills
