Accountant - Recruitment Resolution : Job Details

Are you a qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA) with Practice experience looking to make a bigger impact and work locally for a well-established employer?Our client is an independent Chartered Accountant and Tax Adviser Practice. They cover all areas of accounting, business and tax advice, and specialise in owner managed businesses. 

Package:

• Basic starting salary to £50k per annum.
• 22 days holiday (+ Bank Holidays).

Location: Caterham office, parking onsite, Monday to Friday 9am-5.15pm.

Core responsibilities will typically include:

• Manage your own portfolio of clients comprising FRS 102(1a) and FRS 105 owner-managed companies
• Preparation of statutory financial accounts.
• Preparation of sole trader/partnership accounts.
• Preparing of corporation tax computations and returns.
• Preparing of individual self-assessment tax returns.
• Dealing with HMRC.
• Advising on client’s queries.

Expected Qualifications, Skills & Experience:

• ACA or ACCA qualified.
• Relevant post qualified practice experience.
• All-round accounts and tax experience.
• Limited company accounts preparation.
• Personal self-assessment tax return.
• Corporation tax return.
• Strong knowledge of MS Excel & Cloud based accounting packages.
• QuickBooks, Sage, Xero, Iris, CCH Central.
• Ability to hit the ground running and deal with a fast paced, varied environment.
