Job Description :

My client is seeking a proficient Accountant to join their reporting team, based in Uxbridge. The successful candidate will have an eye for detail, exceptional problem-solving abilities, and good accounting experience.

You will be willing to take on a variety of month/year end tasks to support the production of monthly/statutory reporting and supporting analysis.

Description

  • Oversee and manage financial data and compliance by maintaining accurate books on accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and daily financial entries and reconciliations.
  • Perform monthly, quarterly and annual accounting activities including reconciliations of bank and credit card accounts.
  • Review financial reports for ways to reduce costs.
  • Work closely with the finance team to ensure smooth operation of all finance matters.
  • Support project analysis, validation of plans, and ad-hoc reporting.
  • Assist in the preparation of budgetary planning and implementation, financial forecasting, financial reporting.
  • Identify and resolve invoicing issues, accounting discrepancies and other financial related issues.
  • Initiate and manage financial and accounting software systems.

Profile

A successful Accountant should have:

  • Ideally newly qualified chartered accountant (CIMA or ACCA)
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles.
  • Proficient in MS Excel and SAP Concur would be beneficial.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Confidence to communicate up to CFO level

Job Offer

  • Salary range of £55,000 - £60,000 per annum.
  • Hybrid working model.
  • Annual bonus of up to 10%.
  • 25 days holiday, increasing by 1 day per year up to 30 days.
