Accountant - BROWNS RECRUITMENT GROUP LTD : Job Details

Our well established client are looking for an accountant to join their friendly Poole team. This role would be ideal for a part-qualified accountant working towards their ACA or ACCA qualification, or someone with previous practice experience.

Duties include;

Preparation of Sole Trader, Partnership and Limited company accounts (both FRS 102 and FRS 105)Preparing Self-Assessment tax returnsManaging a portfolio of VAT returnsPreparing Corporation Tax ReturnsAssisting with audit work (subject to qualifications and experience)Liaise with HMRC on behalf of our clientsOther Ad-Hoc duties

The ideal candidate will be:

Self-motivated and proactiveOrganisedA good team playerGood working knowledge of accounting software packages such as CCH, Sage, Xero and QuickbooksEither Part-qualified ACA or ACCA, or have previous practice experience

The role is suitable for either a full-time or part-time member of staff. Salary will depend on qualification and experience.
