Description

• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports.
• Conduct detailed risk assessments to forecast financial trends.
• Prepare budgets in accordance with the retail industry regulations and the company's policies.
• Conduct internal audits and investigations on any financial irregularities.
• Collaborate with external auditors during audits.
• Ensure all financial operations comply with the law and company policies.
• Manage and mentor junior accountants and other financial staff.
• Implement effective strategies to enhance overall financial performance.

Profile

A successful Accountant should have:

• A degree in Accounting, Finance or relevant field.
• ACA qualification or ACCA with practice experience.
• Proven experience as an Accountant in the Retail industry.
• Strong knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures.
• Excellent numeracy skills and attention to detail.
• Strong organisational and communication skills.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software.
• Strong ethical standards and high levels of integrity.
