Step into a role where you’ll work with some of the biggest and most complex insurance accounts in the market! We’re looking for an Account Handler to join a specialist team in Manchester, managing a focused portfolio of large commercial and corporate clients with significant premiums and challenging risks.
This isn’t just about servicing accounts - it’s about becoming a trusted partner to clients, building relationships, and learning directly from experienced Account Executives. You’ll be hands-on with major accounts, giving you the opportunity to act as a key point of contact for your respected clients.
The Account Handler role:
- Managing a defined portfolio of large and complex commercial accounts.
- Acting as a key point of contact for clients, handling queries, renewals, amendments and mid-term changes.
- Joining client visits and building strong, professional relationships.
- Working closely with Account Executives to deliver outstanding service and spot opportunities for growth.
- Providing technical support across complicated risks while ensuring compliance.
Our Ideal Account Handler:
- Experience in commercial or corporate insurance, ideally handling larger accounts.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Confidence in communication, negotiation, and relationship management.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Cert CII (or a commitment to work towards it with full support).
