Experience: Minimum 2 years in insurance open to a General Commercial or Construction background
About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and professional Account Handler to join an established Construction team on a 12-month maternity cover basis. This role offers the opportunity to support Client Executives while managing a portfolio of accounts, building strong relationships with clients and insurers, and contributing to the continued success of the team.
Key Responsibilities
-Support Client Executives with renewals, mid-term adjustments, and new business enquiries.
-Manage a shared portfolio of Construction-led accounts handling premiums on average around £30,00- £50,000 GWP
-Promote and support the branch both internally and externally with clients, insurers, and third parties
-Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, including attending meetings alongside Executives
-Maximise client retention
-Provide reporting to the Divisional Manager on developments within insurer markets
Skills & Experience
-2 years’ experience in insurance
-Strong understanding of client servicing within Commercial &/or Construction sectors
-Excellent communication and relationship management skills
-Confident in preparing reports and presenting information to both clients and insurers
Salary : 28000 - 40000
