Account Executive - Irlam Associates : Job Details

If so, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.Our client is a leading Marketing and Communications company working across the Public and Private sectors on a Global basis.They are looking for an Account Executive to join their team, working across public sector accounts across Scotland. You’ll support the web publications team in delivering a wide range of client projects—from first contact through to delivery and invoicing—while building valuable account management skills in a fast-paced, high-volume publishing environment.Typical Projects Include:

• Online digital publications and official reports
• Alternative formats such as translations, BSL, audio and easy-read documents
• Print-based booklets, brochures, and publications

What You’ll Do:

• Work closely with clients, colleagues, and internal teams to deliver projects on time and within budget
• Build strong, professional relationships with both clients and colleagues
• Take ownership of client projects, managing workflows and maintaining accurate records
• Spot and resolve issues proactively, escalating when needed

What We’re Looking For:

• A positive, “can do” attitude and willingness to learn
• Problem-solving skills and curiosity—comfortable asking questions to get the job done
• Brave enough to make mistakes and learn from them
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to manage deadlines and prioritise effectively
• Prior experience with workflow management systems and MS Office is helpful (but training will be provided)
• Experience in publishing/print is a bonus, but not essential.
