Are you an experienced new business hunter with a track record of selling into HR and winning high-value enterprise accounts?
A leading professional services business is growing its UK commercial team and looking to appoint an Account Director to focus on developing new client relationships. This is a strategic hire, driven by demand for organisational transformation, outplacement, and talent solutions across the UK enterprise space. You’ll join at a time of strong momentum and play a vital role in capturing and growing new revenue streams.
This is a true consultative sales role where you’ll lead complex sales cycles with senior HR stakeholders and drive high-value outcomes for large organisations. The business has a rich portfolio of services spanning coaching, assessment, workforce transformation, and change management. You’ll own the full sales journey—from targeted outreach and first meetings, through to proposal development, negotiation and close. Your core outcome: to win, retain and grow relationships with new enterprise customers across the UK.
We’re looking for a credible and commercially sharp sales professional with a proven ability to sell HR, learning or professional services into large, complex clients. You’ll bring experience of managing long sales cycles, building stakeholder trust, and navigating organisational change. To succeed here, you’ll need to be self-starting, resilient and capable of leading strategic conversations with HR leaders across industries.
You’ll be joining a collaborative, people-focused sales culture that values both team contribution and individual success. There’s clear opportunity for growth—within the sales organisation or across the wider business group—and plenty of support from inside sales, marketing and delivery teams. The package includes a basic salary up to £70,000, £5,000 car allowance and uncapped commission (3% on new business invoiced). Hybrid working model with 2 days/week in a central London office.
