We are looking for an experienced Account Director to lead on a portfolio of high-profile client accounts. In this key leadership role, you’ll guide and mentor a talented team, drive client strategy, ensure project excellence, and play a vital part in the agency’s growth. If you’re confident leading pitches, overseeing complex campaigns, and managing senior stakeholder relationships with ease – this could be your next big move.What You’ll Be Doing:
  • Own and lead a portfolio of key client accounts, delivering strong strategic direction and fostering long-term partnerships.
  • Provide day-to-day leadership to a team of Account Managers and Executives, ensuring delivery of high-quality, profitable work.
  • Act as a main point of contact for clients, offering commercial insight and marketing strategy support.
  • Oversee project delivery – from brief through to execution – on campaigns ranging from £40k+ shoots to multi-channel content strategies.
  • Lead client meetings, strategy sessions, and creative reviews, contributing your industry knowledge and expertise.
  • Support new business efforts – pitch confidently, grow existing accounts, and identify new opportunities.
  • Monitor account profitability, resource planning, and team capacity, ensuring operational efficiency.
  • Stay on top of industry and social trends, sharing insights and thought leadership internally and externally.
What We’re Looking For:
  • 6+ years' experience in an agency or in-house environment (social-first or digital media a strong advantage).
  • Proven ability to lead accounts strategically and commercially, with a track record of growth.
  • A confident communicator and relationship builder, with excellent written and verbal skills.
  • Leadership experience managing, mentoring, and developing high-performing teams.
  • A proactive, solutions-focused mindset.
  • Commercially savvy – experienced in budgeting, quoting, and driving profitability across accounts.
  • A collaborative team player who thrives in fast-paced, creative environments.
