Account Coordinator – (Manchester Office)
Compensation & Benefits:
- Salary: Circa £30,000 (dependent on experience)
- Holidays: 25 days annual leave + bank holidays
- Pension: 3% employer contribution
- Working Hours: 09:00 - 17:00 (office-based with flexibility on WFH, Manchester City Centre)
About The Client:
My client owns a sales consultancy supporting global clients in the toy industry. The international support office, located in Manchester City Centre, provides practical, high-quality service on behalf of the brands they represent.
The Role:
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Account Coordinator to join their team. You’ll work directly with international distribution and retail partners, ensuring smooth operations and exceptional service. This role requires excellent communication skills, a flexible and positive attitude, and experience in customer service at a managerial level.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the main point of contact for global clients and partners
- Coordinate account activities and ensure timely support
- Prepare reports and insights for senior leadership across international offices
- Manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Occasionally travel internationally to trade expos (up to 10 days per year)
- Work full-time from the Manchester-based International Customer Services office
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- Strong academic background, including high-level achievement in Maths and English
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar role, with verifiable references
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong planning, task management, and reporting abilities
- Typing speed and general office administration skills
Preferred Skills & Attributes:
- Experience in sales or merchandising, particularly in the toy industry
- Familiarity with international shipping and logistics terminology
- Understanding of import/export processes
- Additional languages are a plus
- Interest in using new technologies to improve workflows
