Accessories Designer - Tagged Resources : Job Details

The Company:

Do you want to be part of a dynamic & fast successful company? We are seeking a motivated Accessories Designer. You will have sole responsibility for a number of key accounts and will work closely with key account managers to excite retailers with new accessories.

The Role:

• Development of seasonal collections across men’s and women’s headwear and soft accessories.
• Helping to ensure products meet client specifications.
• Be commercially aware and how to translate into designs.
• Have a working knowledge of fabrics and fittings development and sourcing.
• Interpreting seasonal key trends.
• Inspirational boards and colour palettes.
• Presentation of collections.
• Development and sourcing of products and sampling.
• Creating detailed tech packs.
• Graphic design for in house brands
• Travel to customer meetings, Far East and overseas comp shops

Skills Required:

• 3-5 years experience
• A degree or diploma in Fashion/Textiles or related field
• A keen interest in accessories and headwear
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• CAD skills (Adobe Illustrator/Photoshop) are a plus, but not essential
