Location: University of Sussex International Study Centre

Salary: £25,000 per annumOur University of Sussex International Centre are seeking a professional and organised Academic & Student Support Coordinator to join their team.The aim of this role is to provide support to students, lead on visa and immigration activities, support induction programmes, process records and produce reports and monitor student If you are an excellent communicator, with exceptional organisational skills, and attention to detail, we would love to hear from you!

ABOUT THE ROLE

  • Visa Compliance:
    • Register students and ensure compliance with UKVI requirements.
    • Assist students with visa applications and immigration issues.
    • Support maintenance of UKVI records and assist with inspections.
    • Upload passport and visa scans to relevant platforms.
    • Stay updated on visa requirements and processes.
  • Student Support:
    • Respond promptly to student enquiries and requests.
    • Inform students of compliance procedures.
  • Processing student data including recording student late arrivals and update student details and managing Study Plan changes and log absences.
  • Attendance reporting, including generating attendance reports and support academic staff with registers.
  • Provide general admin support and cover duties when necessary.
  • Conduct student/agent tours and support engagement activities.
  • Foster positive relationships with students and staff.

ABOUT YOU

  • Level 3 qualification (Desirable)
  • Experience of working with database system and data inputting (Desirable)
  • Proven customer service skills (Essential)
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, in particular Word and Excel skills (Essential)
  • Meticulous attention to detail (Essential)
  • Effective Communication including accurate written English (Essential)
  • Organisational and problem solving skills (Essential)
