We are looking for an Academic Manager (Science and Engineering) to join our team.

At Kaplan International College London, we’re looking to appoint an Academic Manager who will use their knowledge of teaching and learning to help us deliver a high-quality academic experience to our diverse, international student body, whilst managing and motivating a team of committed teachers to perform to the best of their ability.

You will have relevant experience in leading and teaching modules in Science and/or Engineering to students on university preparation programmes, in particular first year undergraduate-level (level 4) programmes. The post will be of particular interest to candidates who enjoy working with international students.

What you’ll bring to the role

You will enjoy working with international students, be student focussed, be open to change and development, enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and be fully committed to ensuring all our students’ success. Specifically, you will need:

• Strong commitment to student-centred approaches to learning and teaching

• Experience of leading a project or initiative that has led to enhancements in a curriculum area/s

• Knowledge of the needs of international students

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

• Resource allocation and organizational skills

• Ability to analyse data to make informed conclusions

• Ability to work collaboratively across a range of teams

• A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent and preferably a UK Master’s degree or higher

• A teaching qualification ideally
