4th Line Exchange Support Engineer (DV CLEARED ONLY)    • Contract Rate: £600 per day    • Location: Basingstoke, occasional travel to London    • Job Type: Contract (6 months initial term)    • Mandatory: Must be DV Cleared - Do not apply if no clearance in place    We are seeking a highly skilled and reliable 4th Line Exchange Support Engineer to join our team. This role is crucial for supporting our secure systems and user community, offering an opportunity to make a significant impact and enhance the way the world works. Day-to-day of the role:    • Assist a high-profile user community through incident logging applications.    • Collaborate closely with both 3rd Line and Engineering teams.    • Receive training on legacy infrastructure to ensure up-to-date support capabilities.

Required Skills & Qualifications:    • Strong understanding of Exchange 2013 or later versions.    • Proficient in Communication LCS / OCS / LYNC.    • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office SharePoint Server across various versions (2003, 2007, 2010) including architectural design, web parts management, and troubleshooting.    • Experience with SharePoint Designer workflows, data view web part, content query web part, and customization of navigation and branding.    • Solid understanding of Active Directory, ISA, and Exchange Components such as Exchange Database, Outlook Web Access, and Mail Flow.    • Familiarity with Exchange Architecture Services including Edge, Hub, CAS, and Mailbox Server Roles.    • Experience with backup applications and methods for Exchange Database and configurations.    • Knowledge of Exchange Gateway products like Bright mail, IMSS, etc.    • Hands-on experience with High Availability Features (CCR, SCC, SCR, & LCR).    • Extensive experience with Windows core infrastructure services (Active Directory, DNS/DDNS/WINS, DHCP).    • Working knowledge of RAS/VPN, Web Servers, Clusters, and backup/restore processes.    • Understanding of server hardware/RAID, SAN, and backup applications.    • Proficiency in upgrading, transitioning, and migrating Exchange to the latest version.    • Familiarity with tools for troubleshooting, monitoring, and fine-tuning Exchange such as Exchange Best Practice Analyzer Report, Exchange Performance Troubleshooter Analyzer, and MPS Report.    • Demonstrated experience in ITIL best practices methodologies.
