2nd Line Service Desk Engineer

Colchester

Salary: Up to £32k

Essential requirement: Must live within the North Essex area + own transport for onsite visits in East Anglia/Essex

Join this established and leading Managed Service Provider (MSP)

They cater to larger clients and offer a work from home opportunity on their Service Desk with some site visits (racking and stacking, configure a printer on a client site etc). They have just one a 3 year contract with a large client in the East Anglia/Essex area)

We're particularly interested in hearing from Support Engineers with MSP experience, but what matters most to us is your ability to thrive in a fast-paced, customer-focused setting.

Requirements:

- Strong knowledge of desktop support principles and practices

- Proficiency in troubleshooting hardware and software issues

- Familiarity with DNS configuration and management

- Experience with VPN setup and troubleshooting

- Knowledge of SCCM for software deployment and management

- Previous help desk or technical support experience preferred

- Understanding of computer hardware components and peripherals

- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information to non-technical users
