2nd Line Engineer - Hays Specialist Recruitment Limited : Job Details

I'm currently working with a client in Taunton who is looking for a dedicated and skilled Second-Line Engineer to join their dynamic team on a short-term contract (opportunity to go perm). Your New Role

As a Technical Support Analyst (Second-Line Engineer), you'll be the go-to person for clients across the UK. You'll be the escalation point for the Service Desk team, tackling a wide range of technical issues with your extensive knowledge of Microsoft 365, Windows, and networking.

What You'll Need to Succeed

• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft 365 (Azure AD, Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Endpoint Manager) and the ability to configure a tenant from scratch.
• Strong experience with Windows Server, networking (TCP-IP, routing, firewalls), and security protocols (DKIM, DMARC, SPF).
• A proven track record of working with service desk tools and managing a high volume of tickets.
• A brilliant team player attitude with a problem-solving approach and the ability to work independently.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to provide high-level support directly to customers, both remotely and in person.
