2D CAD Engineer/EstimatorAre you an experienced 2D CAD Engineer/Estimator?Are you a skilled 2D CAD Engineer/Estimator looking for your next challenge?If so, this is the 2D CAD Engineer/ Estimator role for you!*** 2D CAD Engineer/Estimator*** £30,000 per annum*** Dudley*** Permanent*** Immediate startAbout the Role:As a 2D CAD Engineer/Estimator, you will be responsible for producing accurate profile drawings using AutoCAD 2D (or similar software) and interpreting engineering drawings. This is a key role in supporting our manufacturing and production teams by ensuring precise estimations and drawings are delivered on time.Key Responsibilities:

• Interpret and work from engineering drawings.
• Produce profile drawings using AutoCAD 2D or similar CAD software.
• Provide accurate estimations for projects.
• Collaborate with the engineering and production teams to meet deadlines.
• Work flexibly in a fast-paced environment.

What We’re Looking For:

• Proficiency in AutoCAD 2D or similar software.
• Ability to read and understand technical engineering drawings.
• Previous experience in an engineering environment preferred.
• Knowledge of material types such as S275, S355, CR4, 304, 316 is desirable.
• Experience with Lantek software is an advantage but not essential.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to work to instruction.

Working Hours:

• Monday – Thursday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Friday: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
